Products and Online Services

Whether you are a crime victim, a victim advocate, a law enforcement officer, a legislator, a student, or a member of the general public, you can depend on OVCRC products and online services:

  • Gallery—this database of multimedia products promoting crime victims’ rights and services includes posters from the 2003–2009 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Guides, photos and biographies of award recipients, promotional web banners, and photos of NCVRW and prelude events.

  • Online Directory of Crime Victim Services—this resource is a searchable database of services provided by not-for-profit programs and public agencies. Visit now and add your organization to the Directory or sign up to receive alerts when new programs are added.

  • Products and Videos—many of these OVC videos have received special recognition and awards. New screensavers are now available for download.

  • New Publications and Fact Sheets—these were released from OVC in the past year.

  • JUSTINFOthis biweekly electronic newsletter covers announcements and recent releases of the U.S. Department of Justice.

  • Calendar—the National Calendar of Crime Victim Assistance-Related Events is an online and interactive tool that connects service providers with a national database of crime victim-related conferences, trainings, ceremonies, and other events. Users can also locate and receive e-mail notifications of local events and add their own events to the calendar.

  • Web Forum—The HELP for Victim Service Providers message board is a tool for victim service providers and allied professionals to share ideas, suggestions, and recommendations concerning promising practices, best practices, and victim issues. Users can receive e-mail notifications about new discussions and topics.
