Jessica: I remember it as if it occurred 10 minutes ago.

Matt: My mom was hit head on by a drunk driver.

Jessica: When this man crashed into my mom, he really crashed into our entire family.

Reidel: Part of my son died that day.

Matt: The nightmares started about a month after the crash.

Reidel: I saw my 8-year-old daughter become an adult overnight.

Jessica: It was just really odd to be brushing your mom’s teeth because she couldn’t.

Matt: They ended up separating and getting a divorce.

Jessica: Our family unraveled.

Matt: I fell into a depression and that led into getting heavily into drugs.

Reidel: You can’t ever get back the time that was lost.
