Funding Opportunity: FY 2019 Building State Technology Capacity and Elder Abuse Hotlines

This program seeks ambitious yet viable proposals from Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Formula State Administrating Agencies to implement visionary statewide technology programs to—
- enhance victims' access to services,
- foster innovation and efficiency in the provision of services,
- improve the quality of services, and
- improve the accessibility and responsiveness of victim service organizations.
OVC expects to make up to 9 awards of up to $600,000 each, to implement other visionary statewide technology programs as outlined in the solicitation's Program Description.
OVC also expects to make up to 5 awards of up to $440,000 each, for projects focused primarily on establishing or enhancing elder abuse or elder crime victim service hotlines (or the elder victim services portion of other general crime victim service hotlines).
In addition to VOCA Formula State Administering Agencies, other organizations are also eligible to apply for funding when such an application is in partnership with the SAA for the applicant's state.
Register for a pre-application webinar on June 11, 2019, from 3:00–4:00 p.m., eastern time. OVC staff will review the solicitation requirements and conduct a question and answer session with interested potential applicants. Participation in the webinar is optional.
