NOTE: During the June 19, 2019 pre-application webinar for the FY 2019 Project Beacon Increasing Services for Urban American Indian and Alaska Native Victims of Sex Trafficking solicitation, slide #31 of the PowerPoint deck indicated that applicants to Purpose Area 2 of this solicitation are required to hire a 1.0 FTE Project Director to help staff their proposed project. During the presentation, and later during the Q & A portion of the webinar, the OVC presenter reiterated this requirement. However, this information is incorrect. Purpose Area 2 applicants are not required to include a 1.0 FTE Project Director in their staffing plan or the budget for their proposed project. OVC apologizes for any confusion generated by the erroneous statements about this matter.


FY 2019 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program Pre-application Webinars

OVC, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Tribal Justice, also held four additional webinars in July 2019. During these webinars, representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services and the Bureau of Justice Assistance shared information about ongoing law enforcement and public safety training and programs available to tribal communities.

FY 2018 Integrated Services for Minor Victims of Human Trafficking Pre-application Webinar
OVC staff review the requirements for this solicitation and conduct a question and answer session with interested potential applicants. This program is designed to enhance the quality and quantity of direct services available to assist minor (under the age of 18) victims of human trafficking.
